Description
A spherical lens is an optical lens with a fixed radius of curvature within the light - passing aperture. It can be divided into plano - convex lens, plano - concave lens, biconvex lens, biconcave lens and meniscus lens according to its shape. Spherical lenses are often used in telescopes and microscopes, photography and video, lighting and laser systems. UM Optics can provide spherical lenses made of materials such as fluorides, silicon, germanium, quartz, K9 glass, zinc sulfide and zinc selenide.
