BaF₂ crystals grown by UM Optics exhibit good light transmittance in the wavelength range of 0.15-14μm, and can be processed into optical components such as lenses, prisms and window plates. Barium fluoride is mainly used in infrared distribution cabinet windows, Fourier gas analysis windows, oil and gas detection, high-power lasers and other equipment.
