Laser Cutting Capabilities
Tannlin’s laser cutting systems are tailored for thin metals ranging from 0.025mm to 2.000mm thickness. These systems feature low average power, bespoke cutting heads, dynamic laser control, and patented TMap material fixturing for flexible production solutions. They achieve dimension tolerances of +/-5µm and burrs of <3µm, with fully automated processes suitable for R&D and volume manufacturing.
Specialized Products
Laser Cut Stencils: Tannlin produces SMT paste stencils, multi-level welded stencils, and dissimilar metal welded stencils with hydrophobic coatings. Formats include TFF, Mesh-mount, Vectorguard, and loose foil, with thicknesses from 0.025mm to 0.600mm. Large-format stencils up to 1200x1800mm are available, with same-day turnaround.
Laser Cut Laminations: Tannlin offers laminations in thicknesses from 0.025mm to 2.000mm, using general electrical steels and specialty alloys. Pre-bonded and pre-laminated materials are available, with tolerances as tight as 5µm and burrs <3µm. Nested rotor and stator cutting with air gaps as tight as 50µm is possible.
Electrical Motor Stacks: Tannlin manufactures motor stacks with diameters from 25mm to 1175mm and stack heights from 1mm to 800mm. Options include bonded, laser-welded, and skew stacks, with cylindricity and perpendicularity <20µm. Processes are automated for volume applications.
Battery Interconnects & Electrodes: Tannlin processes aluminum alloys (0.050-1.500mm), copper alloys (0.100-1.500mm), and clad materials (e.g., Al-Cu, Fe-Cu). Feature tolerances are as tight as 10µm, with burrs <5µm. Automated handling prevents damage, supporting R&D and volume production.
