The FID-30R, FID-31R, and FID-32R are high-performance Fiber Identifiers designed for optical communication networks. They enable fast, non-intrusive identification of live optical fibers without interrupting network traffic. The FID-30R also features a built-in Optical Power Meter, providing two essential functions in one compact instrument.
Key Features High-Sensitivity Detection World-class signal detection sensitivity. Accurately detects optical signals on both standard single-mode fibers and bend-insensitive fibers (ITU-T G.657). Ergonomic & User-Friendly Design Lightweight, ergonomic design for comfortable one-handed operation. Slim detector head provides easy access to densely populated fiber installations. Optimized LCD display offers clear and convenient viewing of measurement results. Trigger Lock Function Trigger lock mechanism eliminates the need to continuously hold the trigger during measurements. Reduces operator fatigue while minimizing the risk of fiber damage. Allows hands-free operation for greater efficiency. External Light Source Detection Automatically detects external light sources. Activates a warning indicator and displays arrows in both directions to alert the operator. Helps prevent incorrect identification of live data or voice traffic. Easy Maintenance Detector heads can be replaced quickly without the use of tools. Simplifies maintenance and minimizes downtime. Additional Features FID-30R – Built-in Optical Power Meter Integrated Optical Power Meter for convenient field measurements. Interchangeable optical adapters support SC, FC, ST, and LC connectors.
